SIRIUS Backseat TV operates via an in-vehicle satellite video receiver and two small roof-mounted antennas. Programming is displayed on Grand Cherokee's second-row flip-down 8-inch color screen. For added flexibility, rear-seat passengers can enjoy SIRIUS Backseat TV, while front-seat occupants listen to SIRIUS Satellite Radio.^[1] The system can be controlled from either the rear-seat entertainment unit or the radio head unit. In addition, when the vehicle is in park, programming can be displayed on the MyGIG® screen for front-seat viewing.

While you're waiting to arrive at your journey, the available rear seat VES® Video Entertainment System will keep your rear-seat passengers occupied. This high-tech system plays your favorite DVD videos on a headliner-mounted flip-down 8-inch color screen (one inch larger than 2007) via a video player (Note: The video player is part of the available MyGIG® Multimedia System^[2] with GPS Navigation and MyGIG Multimedia System). Two wireless infrared headsets allow rear-seat passengers to listen to the same audio as up-front occupants or to choose their own. Auxiliary audio / video RCA jacks enable the monitor to display video from a camera or game system.

The Rear Seat VES® Video Entertainment System is available on Overland and Limited, available on SRT8® in the SRT Option Group 2 and available on Laredo in the Rear Back-Up Camera / Rear Seat Video Group.
