Storage Overview
If an active lifestyle frames your day, use the Liberty as an extension of that ideal. The reversible rear cargo tray provides two alternatives for rear cargo configuration—a flat, carpeted floor, or 2.5-inch deep waterproof tray. And the "thoughtful considerations" list goes on. Personal Storage
Large Glove Box
- Size matters when you're trying to store your things. Open it up and fill it up—the large glove box has a volume of 293 cubic inches. A front passenger grab handle is located above the glove box—for those "rugged" trails.
Center Stack
- For additional storage, a large open bin located on the center stack provides a rubber mat to help prevent items from sliding.
Drivers Side Storage
- Think of it as your personal secret compartment. Liberty comes standard with a handy drivers side storage cubby. Located just below and to the left of the steering wheel, the cubby stores small items out of sight, with convenient driver access.
Full-Length Center Console
- The Grand Canyon of center consoles: the utilitarian full-length center console includes over 488 cubic inches of storage in the lower bin with extra space in the removable upper tray for your small items like a cell phone, PDA or iPod® . A handy coin storage bin is built into the upper tray. An elastic strap on the driver side of the console securely holds maps and important papers in place.
- A 115-volt two-prong power outlet in the rear of the center console provides up to 150 watts of power to your laptop computer, gaming system or other small appliance (standard on Limited, available on Sport in the Popular Equipment Group).
- Liberty's two cup holders are engineered to be sturdy and fit a multitude of different sized drinks. But should your cup runneth over, just remove the washable liners and wash them out.
Overhead Clip
- The convenient overhead clip can hold receipts.

Cargo Capacity
Wide load, oversize load, the All New 2008 Liberty will accommodate. See the user-friendly 31.5 cubic feet of cargo capacity with the rear seat up. Beyond that, it expands to an impressive 64.2 cubic feet with rear seats folded.
Bend over backwards—literally. Liberty's standard 60/40 split-folding rear seats have true zero degree fold-flat capability for ultimate flexibility and utility. Plus they offer the added advantage of locking into place.

Reversible Cargo Tray
Removable. Washable. Durable. Standard on Liberty Limited and Sport is a reversible/waterproof rear cargo tray includes a carpeted flat floor on one side and a 2.5-inch deep waterproof vinyl tray on the other. It's perfect for plants, or muddy shoes. Dual latches on either side give access to a 4-inch deep storage bin beneath the lid. Maximum load capacity is 400 pounds.

Cargo Tie Downs
Removable. Washable. Durable. The reversible rear cargo tray includes a carpeted flat floor on one side and a 2.5-inch deep waterproof vinyl tray on the other. It's perfect for plants, or muddy shoes. Dual latches on either side give access to a 4-inch deep storage bin beneath the lid.
No loose ends. For added convenience in securing items Liberty includes four fixed and recessed cargo tie-down loops in the carpeted floor.

Cargo Compartment Cover
A stylish retractable compartment cover keeps valuables out of sight in the cargo area. The cover is easy to install and remove when not in use. Standard on Limited and available on Sport in the Popular Equipment Group.

Flipper Glass
Conveniently clever. A rear flipper glass window is standard on the All New 2008 Liberty and available for tint with the Popular Equipment Group on Sport. Press a button on the light bar or key fob and the flipper glass opens allowing interior access without having to open the rear liftgate. Popular Equipment Group (Available on Sport only) includes:
